Smaczne Środy: Cup Cakes and Coffee by Izybar in Szczecin, West Pomerania

Today’s Smaczne Środy takes us to Szczecin in West Pomerania. Walking through Polish cities on my journey and just seeing where life might take me has always been a huge fascination. I didn’t know too much about Szczecin on my 2016 visit to the city, but I wanted to get some blogging done in the morning so some coffee and cake was on the agenda. I spotted Cup and Cake Cafe, by Izybar on a prominent and popular street in the city centre – Plac Orła Białego and in I popped.

They had a special promotion on Cup Cakes at the time, so I was able to get buy one get one free. At the time I was staying with my friends Javier and Zuza in the city and decided I could buy extra to give some to them and their two lovely children as a gift. But first up, a flashback to my childhood days watching Sesame Street!

The price was great too – I paid 12 zloty (£3) for 2 cup cakes and a coffee. I shared it on Instagram and got munching these delicious cup cakes and having a coffee while returning to blogging and typing up what turned out to be my last ever travel blog on the now defunkt Don’t Stop Living platform.
