Since I relocated to Poland in July 2016, I have been working on a load of cool projects inside the country as a way of promoting it as a travel writer. This new series is all about my working adventures in Poland. I have named it Pracujące Poniedziałki, literally “Working Mondays”, in keeping with my lifetime of creativity and my love of poetry, metaphors, assonance and alliteration in the English language. If you want to work with me, please get in touch – you can check my list of companies I have worked with so far. I don’t say no and I don’t tell fibs.
I worked on lots of travel apps and online platforms for travel tips down the years including Vadovia, Plansify and Think Places while being a self employed travel writer at http://dontstopliving.net/. During 2016, I helped with some cool itineraries for GPS My City, an excellent app, available on iTunes and one that has no limits. The content opportunites on this platform are endless, walks of cities, walks of bars, cafes, churches etc.
After my time touring the bars of Starogard Gdański, the cafes of Starogard Gdański and the sights of Starogard Gdański, this was one of the places that cemented my reasons to stay in Poland. It was off the wall. Other backpackers and tourists were covering Gdańsk, I backpacked its baby brother Starogard Gdański, and more distant cousin Pelplin. Both of these visits to historic towns are covered on GPS My City, and Bydgoszcz is also added now too.
