Dziwaczne Odkrycia: Indoor Sky Diving With Tinggly in Warszawa – Preview

This week will see me experience something new, fun and exciting in Warszawa, Poland! I am going to be going Indoor Sky Diving with Tinggly and Flyspot! This post is just a preview, post event I will write about my experience!

It will be my first time to experience something like this though a whopping 10 years ago I did a proper outdoor sky dive while backpacking in New Zealand.

All I have been told so far is:
Please appear in the tunnel at least 45 minutes before service time – this is the time for short training and selection of equipment (overalls, goggles and helmet).

Please also bring your sports shoes with you.

On site there is a possibility to free download the movie from the flight on your own pen drive.

Wind tunnels are usually used mainly to study the aerodynamic forces at work on planes and cars, but here they’ve turned that idea on its head – literally. This wind tunnel is vertical, creating a column of air travelling at a steady 150mph, so you just step off a platform into it, and you’re floating!

Even first-timers will find it very easy to pick up the basics. With the help of an instructor, you’ll learn how to go forwards and backwards, up, down and sideways, and even turn around. Bringing along your partner or a friend, you get two flights apiece to enjoy.
